News - Earth Overshoot Day 2019
29th of July was Earth Overshoot Day, which was the earliest date in history and it keeps occurring earlier every year.
Earth Overshoot Day marks the date when humanity’s demand for ecological resources (fish and forests, for instance) and services in a given year exceeds what Earth can regenerate in that year (Source: global Footprint Network).
Austrias earth overshoot day this year is the 9th of April.
