Markus Kattenbeck became a MSCA Global Fellow

Dr. Markus Kattenbeck, who has been a member of our department since 2019, has become a Global Fellow as part of the H2020 Marie-Skłodowska-Curie Actions of the European Union. In this prestigious funding scheme, his proposal for a 30-month project has been among the top 6%. Markus, who has been leading the Spatial-HCI Lab at the Research Unit Geoinformation since 2019, will work on understanding and modelling the behavioural correlates of spatial familiarity in wayfinding. His project will be a joint collaboration between the Geoinformation Group (Prof. Dr. Ioannis Giannopoulos) in our Department and the Geography Department at the UC Santa Barbara (Prof. Dr. Daniel Montello).
