Hana Krásná receives Karl Rinner Award

Dr. Hana Krásná of the research group for Advanced Geodesy is this years' recipient of the Karl Rinner Award of the Austrian Geodetic Commission. This award, acknowledging outstanding international scientific contributions by young researchers, honors Hana Krásná's work on Love Numbers and the Free Core Nutation signal as estimated by geodetic VLBI (Very Long Baseline Interferometry), see also the official press release of TU Vienna. She received the award on 28 October 2014 at the BEV (Bundesamt für Eich- und Vermessungswesen) and presented an overview of her achievements in a ceremonial talk.
